Looks Good
This rail replaced the Pic rail I got from Ruger. I didn't like the looks of the overhang. The Shadow rail is shorter and fits perfectly in front of the rear sight. It also has a longitudinal slot along its axis that insures an unobstructed sight picture. Installation was no problem. I was undecided whether the black or gray rail would go better with my stainless Mark IV. I wound up with the black and I think that was the right choice for me.

Great Rail/ Outstanding Customer Service
I was told to purchase this rail to correct what was sent to me by Ruger regarding the overall length of mount. When I received my first rail, it was discovered that the specs on the position of where the screws were set would not properly mount the base with screws provided. Eric from support assisted me with this matter and a perfect rail was sent out to me. Nows works absolutely wonderful.
