I like the fact that this rail is shorter than the Ruger rail. a better look when using a small red dot sight.

Very nice piece of equipment. Love that the screws are included. I always intended to use "iron" sights" , but wanted options to quickly mount red-dots or lasers to play around. I have the Ruger factory Picatinny rail and it does not suit my purposes. No center cut down the middle to accommodate the use of factory or upgraded "iron" sights (sight picture actually does work but very little elevation play), and their rail is too long. Apparently, Ruger assumes that you will either remove the rear sight or deal with a bit of rail hanging over the bull barrel area. Nose-heavy? Not really, just unnecessary. For my purposes, the Tandemkross rail handles both of these issues perfectly. Again, nice piece of gear. I'm probably rehashing their own sales content, but hey... you heard it from someone who actually bought one, bolted it on, and used it. Buy it.

I used the picatinny rail on my Rugher Mark IV for mounting a Vortex Venom Red Dot. Initially the Red Dot canted to the right when clamped onto the rail. Call to Vortex and they said it was the rail. Called Tanemkross and they sent me out a new rail that they checked before sending out on one of their guns. Installed the new rail and I still had the same problem. Called Vortex and they sent me a new adapter for the Venom, same problem. Vortex sent another adapter same problem. Multiple calls to Vortex tech and they finally sent me a different adapter, the one they use on the Razor Red Dot. This one worked. The Tandemkross rail looks good on my IV, does not stick out over the barrel. Can't say enough about the excellent support I received from Tandemkross, can't say the same for Vortex.

Very nice rail
Mounted this rail on a Ruger Mark IV , It looks really good on overhang on the barrel. I haven't mounted a sight on it yet but I am sure it will work fine.

I am glad I went with the Tandemcross picitinny instead of the factory Mark iV. The Tandemcoss is twice the factory model, The aesthetics of the shorter rail makes the appearance of the gun more classic and finished looking.
