This is the perfect rail for a Ruger Mark IV 22/45 Target pistol or any non-Lite Ruger. The length is a perfect fit from the rear sight, right to the step down from the receiver's top to the barrel (3 3/8 inches). If you purchase a "Ruger" rail it is longer and looks bad because it leaves a gap at this point. You will not be disappointed with this rail. BTW - Tandemkross has EXCELLENT customer service!
