The underside of the rail has a relieved ejection port area to provide a sure ejection of spent brass. This rail can be used with both fixed and adjustable iron sights in place. This gives you the option of removing your scope or red dot and using the iron sights without removing the rail. Perfect fit Mark IV
This fits perfectly on my Mark IV. No ejection issues and great mount my red dot.

Great apperance
Same function as the original but looks a lot better without that unsightly over hang that the stock one exhibits. Make sure you add some Loctite to the screws as well.

Nice Upgrade
This rail replaced factory rail on Ruger MKIV 22/45 lite and is a great improvement. Quality is exceptional, and the shorter length looks much better as it reveals the holes on the barrel shroud. Additionally, there is a slight cut out over the ejection port (lacking on factory rail) to ensure unfettered shell ejection.

Nice mount, holes all lined up. You can still use the iron sights. Ends at the receiver, does not cantelever over barrel like most I have seen. Would recommend.
