It’s a rail!
It’s a replacement rail. The length and quality of the rail is good and it certainly adds value to my Mark IV in the looks department as it doersn’t hang over the barrel like the ugly factory rail. That said, the screws on the factory barrel are higher quality. I’d love to see a tapered Torx/Hex screw instead of what’s supplied.

Picatinny Rail
This rail was meant to be on my Ruger Mark IV 22/45 lite. So much better looking than factory rail. This is a must have.

Great Mount!
This is the best sight mount for a Ruger pistol bar none! I love the feature of not having to remove the mount to be able to use your iron sights, clever! Had a local gunsmith drill and tap my Mark II and the fit was great! Plus the fit on my Mark IV was perfect! Great product, would definitely buy again!

Shadow Rail for 22/45
Nice rail. I did need to have my Ruger 22/45 Target tapped and drilled. Mine is one of the earlier models that wasn't tapped and drilled at the factory.

What I expected
The rail is exactly as described. I haven't decided on an optic yet so the ability to use the rail with the iron sights was important to me. The installation, fit, and finish is what I expected.

Great product, great experience
Thank you Tandemkross. My ancient Ruger Mk2 was brought into the 21st Century. It took about 5 minutes to install this rail and a cheap Primary Arms red dot, and another 5 minutes to zero at 25 yards. This was maybe the least problematic gun upgrade I have ever experienced.
