The underside of the rail has a relieved ejection port area to provide a sure ejection of spent brass. This rail can be used with both fixed and adjustable iron sights in place. This gives you the option of removing your scope or red dot and using the iron sights without removing the rail. Picatinny Rail for 22/45
Perfect fit for my 22/45, unlike others this rail is not too long and there is no air space underneath. Fits flush on the barrel.

Solid. I had purchased an imported rail, machining was terrible. Sent it back. Happy to pay $10 more for Tandemkross quality.

Great Product
Sharp looking, lightweight and won't rust. Silver matches stainless Ruger models pretty closely. Aluminum construction. Doesn't protrude past the breech block over the barrel and perfect view of factory sights.

Shadow Rail Ruger 22/45
Great rail The Ruger rail that came with the gun has its limits. My Red Dot would not fit on it. The Shadow was perfect and well built. Everything I tried on it fits. Customer service, shipping, price was outstanding.
