The Sentinel Guide Rod for TaurusTX™ 22 is a must-have part to make your good gun great! Boost your pistol’s reliability and increase its resilience to wear and tear with this all-in-one steel guide rod, upgraded spring assembly, and built-in buffer!

TANDEMKROSS’s upgraded dual recoil springs give the overall guide rod assembly long-lasting durability and performance over the factory spring. Additionally, the steel rod ensures long life and helps to reduce binding by giving the springs a smooth, wear-resistant surface to glide over. Lastly, the built-in buffer helps increase the life of your slide by softening the impact from the slide reciprocating back and forth. The “Sentinel” does all of this while being one simple, fully captured assembly designed to easily replace the factory guide rod with absolutely no permanent modifications to your firearm.

Make your good gun great today with TANDEMKROSS’s Sentinel Guide Rod.

Problem with the Sentinel Spring Guide Rod for Taurus TX22

Posted by Karen Dorland on 5th Aug 2022

Like another reviewer here, I too had problems with the rubber buffer slipping down and becoming compressed. I ended up having to remove it altogether as it wouldnt fire. This was after only about 300 rounds or so.

Works great on my TX22. I have a red dot on my pistol and it shoots every type of ammo I put in it. It let me get back on target quickly.

The spring and guide rod are much better made than the original. Unfortunately, my pistol didn't like it. TK made good and I exchanged it for the new TK striker. Each gun is individual. Yours may love iut as many do.

    Sentinel guid rod

Love the extra weight, improves the balance. Addressing the slide wear issues of the stock rod was fantastic. One issue! The rubber buffer after only less than 100 rounds has started to become permanently compressed or distorted. And slips away from the shoulder on the rod. This should be addressed, I don t see long life for the buffer, No way it can make it to 1000+ rounds. Every thing else is fantastic, only reason not rated 5.

    Stainless guide rod assembly

Drops right in and gives the pistol a more realistic feel. The added weight reduces muzzle rise and helps keep you on target. High quality part for sure. Definitely worth the money!1
