Sentinel stainless steel guide rod
I replaced my pistol's chipped plastic rod with this one and, in addition to the added durability, the extra weight out front (little as it may be) made it easier to keep the sights on target during rapid fire. It's an absurdly inexpensive upgrade that was very noticable .

Really nice replacement for the stock plastic rod. Easy I stall, fit perfectly. Good value. Haven't shot it yet but should be an improvement

Problem with the Sentinel Spring Guide Rod for Taurus TX22
Like another reviewer here, I too had problems with the rubber buffer slipping down and becoming compressed. I ended up having to remove it altogether as it wouldnt fire. This was after only about 300 rounds or so.

Works great on my TX22. I have a red dot on my pistol and it shoots every type of ammo I put in it. It let me get back on target quickly.

The spring and guide rod are much better made than the original. Unfortunately, my pistol didn't like it. TK made good and I exchanged it for the new TK striker. Each gun is individual. Yours may love iut as many do.
