The TANDEMKROSS Sentinel Captured Spring Rod for the Walther® P22® is an excellent upgrade for your Walther® pistol. The Walther® factory spring is extra long and extends past the spring guide rod. This design requires a special tool to reinstall and makes cleaning your P22® a challenge. The TANDEMKROSS stainless steel guide rod for the Walther® P22® features a captured spring, doing away with the need for any special equipment and making your firearm maintenance simple.
Because the spring is captured, the TANDEMKROSS Sentinel Spring Rod also returns the P22® slide to the same position every time, reducing up and down movement of the slide and improving accuracy.

Captive guide rod/return spring
This product makes reassembly of the Walter P 22 a breeze, bought my youngest daughter her first firearm, since I have several hand guns I chose the walther P22, forgot about the nightmare OEM return spring that looks like a small garden snake, thought of you guys immediately since I purchased a captive guide rod assy for my p22, she has no trouble now reassembling her new toy,thanks guys for being there and you are my next door neighbor at that

Shot 500 hundred rounds of various brands of ammo and velocity with any issues. The best thing is the ease of reinstalling spring after cleaning

Walther P22 captured Spring
This spring was easily installed and makes taking down the P22 much easier. It also adds a little heft to the front end which helps offset the already minimal recoil. An already sweet little pistol made just a bit better.It does what it was intended to do. I strongly recommend it.

Spring and guide rod
This was suppose to help with the Walter 22 pistol with performance. I had no issue with reassembly using the loose spring and guide rod. This item does making reassembly a little easier but dies not improve the gun performance with some ammo brands

I owned this before the P22
I have a Walther P22 CA and this is a must have. I actually had this beauty in my hands before I had the Walther. Works great and makes cleaning and breakdown a breeze. If you are getting a P22 and it does not have a captured spring, this will be the best investment you can make for your gun.
