The TANDEMKROSS Sentinel Captured Spring Rod for the Walther® P22® is an excellent upgrade for your Walther® pistol. The Walther® factory spring is extra long and extends past the spring guide rod. This design requires a special tool to reinstall and makes cleaning your P22® a challenge. The TANDEMKROSS stainless steel guide rod for the Walther® P22® features a captured spring, doing away with the need for any special equipment and making your firearm maintenance simple.
Because the spring is captured, the TANDEMKROSS Sentinel Spring Rod also returns the P22® slide to the same position every time, reducing up and down movement of the slide and improving accuracy.
This drop-in part is one of the best P22® accessories that will improve the performance and simplify the maintenance of your Walther® P22®.

Must Have!
Bought this captured spring after searching for ways to make my daughter's P22 be more reliable. Replaced the fly away spring and went from FTFs and FTEs almost every magazine to zero failures for the 5 mags after. (All rounds 40gr ORBEA from Argentina - years of great experience with this ammo) Then, ran a few mags of Winchester Silvertip HP. 1st mag, 1st shot had a FTE. Cycled everything after that. Then, ran a few more using Federal P.D. Punch FN, 29 gr. Had 3 FTF in 1st mag. Next 2 mags cycled fine) A great under $30 investment for sure and miles easier reassembling after cleaning the P22. Also, super fast fulfillment - arrived in less than 5 days from ordering.

A must have for the P22, why is it not stock? Old spring took about 30 minutes to get it just right, new spring..about 2 seconds.....

Captured Spring P22
Just received my Sentinel Captured spring. Why did I not order this sooner?? This is the best upgrade I have bought for my P22. Cleaning will no longer be a chore. This should be standard on all P22s.
