The TANDEMKROSS Sentinel Captured Spring Rod for the Walther® P22® is an excellent upgrade for your Walther® pistol. The Walther® factory spring is extra long and extends past the spring guide rod. This design requires a special tool to reinstall and makes cleaning your P22® a challenge. The TANDEMKROSS stainless steel guide rod for the Walther® P22® features a captured spring, doing away with the need for any special equipment and making your firearm maintenance simple.

Because the spring is captured, the TANDEMKROSS Sentinel Spring Rod also returns the P22® slide to the same position every time, reducing up and down movement of the slide and improving accuracy.

This drop-in part is one of the best P22® accessories that will improve the performance and simplify the maintenance of your Walther® P22®.

    This is a must have for all P22 owners! Makes your life much easier when putting your P22 back together. No issues at the range with the new captured spring installed.

    I bought this product after mine had failed me in my Walther P22. To my surprise, the system is much superior to the OEM part and it has reduced any extra movement and rattle. Very happy with my purchase.

    Fit great! Really like how it snaps the slide closed. Have not had a chance to shoot it yet but can't wait.

    It makes taking the Walter P22 apart extremely easy. The factory spring and guide rod is a pain to replace and makes the Ruger MKII seem a lot easier. This product is a should be done to the Walter P22 at the factory.

    I always clean my guns whenever I fire them. Messing around with that plastic spring guard rod was a real pain. This captured spring guide rod made it sooo much easier to reassemble the weapon. Metal is way better than plastic. A definite improvement for the P22.

    Product worked fairly well for about two hundred then started causing failure to fire do to lack of retention of the slide.
