The TANDEMKROSS Sentinel Captured Spring Rod for the Walther® P22® is an excellent upgrade for your Walther® pistol. The Walther® factory spring is extra long and extends past the spring guide rod. This design requires a special tool to reinstall and makes cleaning your P22® a challenge. The TANDEMKROSS stainless steel guide rod for the Walther® P22® features a captured spring, doing away with the need for any special equipment and making your firearm maintenance simple.

Because the spring is captured, the TANDEMKROSS Sentinel Spring Rod also returns the P22® slide to the same position every time, reducing up and down movement of the slide and improving accuracy.

This drop-in part is one of the best P22® accessories that will improve the performance and simplify the maintenance of your Walther® P22®.

    Works perfectly as designed. Great quality item and now I enjoy shooting my Walther .22 even more as clean up is a breeze.

    The Sentinel spring and guide rod work as well as the original and makes it very to reassemble my Walther P22 after cleaning. It was well worth the price.

    Works on P22q

    I was told by Tandemkross that this will not work with my P22Q, I called Walther and they said the P22q is the same as the p22 except the grip has been changed, and slide is thicker to prevent cracking. and it uses the same spring and rod as the p22. The Tandem Kross works great in my P22q. Tandem Kross needs to change its information on the P22q not being compatible. The tandem kross will not fit the P22QD which is a totally remodeled gun with a different capture spring and slide. Walther informed me of this

    I was very impressed with the P22 captured spring guide rod quality and Functionality. Breakdown and reassembly are now a pleasure and not a chore. Kudos to TK on this product.
