The TANDEMKROSS Sentinel Captured Spring Rod for the Walther® P22® is an excellent upgrade for your Walther® pistol. The Walther® factory spring is extra long and extends past the spring guide rod. This design requires a special tool to reinstall and makes cleaning your P22® a challenge. The TANDEMKROSS stainless steel guide rod for the Walther® P22® features a captured spring, doing away with the need for any special equipment and making your firearm maintenance simple.
Because the spring is captured, the TANDEMKROSS Sentinel Spring Rod also returns the P22® slide to the same position every time, reducing up and down movement of the slide and improving accuracy.

Captured spring guide rod for Walther p22
Dropped in and lined up easily for reassembly. This is light years above the spring and guide rod the pistol comes with. Well worth the money. Buy 2, I did.

A great product with NO more hassel of getting the spring inserted with the ineffective tool provided by Walther. Works great in cycling multiple ammo velocities too. Get one if you have a P22.

Captured Spring upgrade
I love my Walther P22 but the OEM spring was miserable to reassemble. The Tandemkross captured spring makes cleaning and reassembly so…. much easier. Plus I shot 200 rounds with my suppressor without one jam or failure of the slide to return fully. And I’m upgrading my brother’s and friend’s P22s because of the great results.

Just Buy It
This guide rods are a real quality-of-life improvement part for these pistols. My Walther P22 CA has been virtually problem free ever since I polished down the bump on the hammer and safety bar but assembly without a captured recoil spring was always a headache even if you had the little plastic tool or "knew the tricks". With this guide rod the slide is just easy on and easy off.
