The TANDEMKROSS Sentinel Captured Spring Rod for the Walther® P22® is an excellent upgrade for your Walther® pistol. The Walther® factory spring is extra long and extends past the spring guide rod. This design requires a special tool to reinstall and makes cleaning your P22® a challenge. The TANDEMKROSS stainless steel guide rod for the Walther® P22® features a captured spring, doing away with the need for any special equipment and making your firearm maintenance simple.

Because the spring is captured, the TANDEMKROSS Sentinel Spring Rod also returns the P22® slide to the same position every time, reducing up and down movement of the slide and improving accuracy.

This drop-in part is one of the best P22® accessories that will improve the performance and simplify the maintenance of your Walther® P22®.

    This captured spring guide rod has completely changed the way I clean my wife's P22. This used to be a task I dreaded, as the manufacturer's intended reassembly is a joke. If you found this page, you already own a P22 and are frustrated by the inane reassembly process. Just buy it. It will change your life.

    Works perfectly and my P22 cycles flawlessly. I have an original P22 that's about ten years old. Perfect upgrade for a good price.

    I used to dread cleaning my P22. Now with this captured spring guide rod it’s a breeze. The gun has less jams and seems to be a little more accurate. Probably because the old spring was so beat up from all the previous disassembly / reaseemblies I find myself shooting this gun much more now. I highly recommend this part.

    The captured spring guide was exactly what I thought I needed. After field stripping my new Walther P22Q, I learned it already had a metal captured spring guide rofd. I contacted Tandemkross for a return explaining my situation. They were courteous,understanding, and give me instructions for return. No problems with my refund. Very pleased with their service.
