The TANDEMKROSS "Sentinel" Stainless Steel Captured Spring Guide Rod for Walther® P22® is an excellent upgrade for your Walther® pistol. The Walther® factory spring is extra long and extends past the spring guide rod. This design requires a special tool to reinstall and makes cleaning your P22 a challenge. The TANDEMKROSS stainless steel guide rod for the Walther® P22 features a “captured” spring, doing away with the need for any special equipment and making your firearm maintenance simple.
Because the spring is “captured,” the TANDEMKROSS “Sentinel” Spring Rod also returns the P22 slide to the same position every time, reducing up and down movement of the slide and improving accuracy.
This drop-in part is one of the best P22 accessories that will improve the performance and simplify the maintenance of your Walther® P22.

Captured spring guiderod
I used to dread cleaning my P22. Now with this captured spring guide rod it’s a breeze. The gun has less jams and seems to be a little more accurate. Probably because the old spring was so beat up from all the previous disassembly / reaseemblies I find myself shooting this gun much more now. I highly recommend this part.

The captured spring guide was exactly what I thought I needed. After field stripping my new Walther P22Q, I learned it already had a metal captured spring guide rofd. Have you ever field stripped your p22 and became really really really frustrated when trying to depress that long spring into that tiny guide rod? Well lets just say i almost threw my p22 at the wall. Thank god tandemkross created this wonderful masterpiece to ease the pain i felt when i would have to clean the p22. If it wasnt for you guys, the firearm would have been broken into pieces by now.

Replaced the ridiculous guide rod & spring in my kid’s Walther P22Q with this product. By doing so, it made the cleaning process way easier, no more aggravation (or swearing) with reassembly. Highly recommend!
