The TANDEMKROSS Sentinel Captured Spring Rod for the Walther® P22® is an excellent upgrade for your Walther® pistol. The Walther® factory spring is extra long and extends past the spring guide rod. This design requires a special tool to reinstall and makes cleaning your P22® a challenge. The TANDEMKROSS stainless steel guide rod for the Walther® P22® features a captured spring, doing away with the need for any special equipment and making your firearm maintenance simple.
Because the spring is captured, the TANDEMKROSS Sentinel Spring Rod also returns the P22® slide to the same position every time, reducing up and down movement of the slide and improving accuracy.

Very happy with this product
I'm very satisfied with this product. I was having issues with my p22 going into battery and this recoil spring has completely resolved the issue. It's an added benefit that it's captive on the guide rod simplifying reassembly of the pistol. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone with a p22 regardless of a worn factory recoil spring.

Excellent replacement
This is a significant improvement over the stock bar and recoil spring in the Walther P22. Breaking this gun down to clean and reassembly was the most annoying thing about using the P22. This is always made my kid seek my help in reassembly and now it’s a breeze. Excellent product

really haven't used the pistol to warren't cleaning so I haven't installed it yet but from what I can see it should work great.just what the Dr. ordered.

P22 "Sentinel" Spring Guide Rod
I bought a Walther P22 Captured Spring Guide Rod. What a ingenious device. It was such a pain breaking down the P22 and reassembling that i stopped using it very much. This spring and rod makes reassembly quite easy. Absolutely worth the cost!

Perfect!
No joke, this transformed my P22. I was having issues where about every third round was not loading correctly, so I had to manually cycle it to load the next round. I had tried everything I could think of, then I saw this guide rod and gave it a shot (no pun intended). I put about 250 rounds through it this morning without a single issue, so it literally transformed my gun into a joy to shoot, and saved it from going to the pawn shop. HIGHLY recommended!

Works great.
Purchased this because I hated assembly of the original spring but was hoping a captured spring would be just as consistent and reliable and so far it’s been great. No difference what so ever with the original walther spring and this all in one captured spring. Assembly is also soooo much easier. The spring is a little less robust than the original walther spring so I’m not sure about how it will hold up.

Excellent product and perfact fit my Walther P22 CA
Perfect fit to my Walther P22 CA. I went shooting the second day after I replaced with the Captured Spring Guide Rod and shot with no problem at all. Very smooth operation! Highly recommended to everyone have Walther P22.
