The TANDEMKROSS Sentinel Captured Spring Rod for the Walther® P22® is an excellent upgrade for your Walther® pistol. The Walther® factory spring is extra long and extends past the spring guide rod. This design requires a special tool to reinstall and makes cleaning your P22® a challenge. The TANDEMKROSS stainless steel guide rod for the Walther® P22® features a captured spring, doing away with the need for any special equipment and making your firearm maintenance simple.
Because the spring is captured, the TANDEMKROSS Sentinel Spring Rod also returns the P22® slide to the same position every time, reducing up and down movement of the slide and improving accuracy.

Wow, for all of you who have launched the recoil spring of your Walther P-22 into outer space this captured Spring Guide Rod is your frustration cure. This captured spring guide rod makes cleaning a P-22 a pleasure rather than a pain in the you know what. I strongly recommend this product.

Very easy to install. After install, makes disassembly/reassembly much easier. No issues firing, in fact maybe a bit less "wobble" in the slide making it more stable.

The captured spring is exactly what was needed to replace the spring in the Walther .22. The original spring required a fight to put it back after cleaning. This captured spring was so easy to use that I highly recommend it.
