The TANDEMKROSS Sentinel Captured Spring Rod for the Walther® P22® is an excellent upgrade for your Walther® pistol. The Walther® factory spring is extra long and extends past the spring guide rod. This design requires a special tool to reinstall and makes cleaning your P22® a challenge. The TANDEMKROSS stainless steel guide rod for the Walther® P22® features a captured spring, doing away with the need for any special equipment and making your firearm maintenance simple.
Because the spring is captured, the TANDEMKROSS Sentinel Spring Rod also returns the P22® slide to the same position every time, reducing up and down movement of the slide and improving accuracy.

Your captured spring guide rod for my Walther P22 was a tremendous improvement over the original guide rod. It makes disassembly and more importantly reassembly much easier and safer. I no longer have to worry about the original long spring popping out during reassembly. A great product at a great price!

Walther P22 Slide Spring
I own two of these little 22's and they're a real pain to reassemble; but with this upgraded spring guide rod now install in both, it only takes seconds to put the guns back together. Great Product!

P22 guide rod
Recently purchased your P22 captured spring guide rod. When reassembling the firearm I used to have to use a pencil to keep the spring aligned not any more. This item saves time, headaches and works great!

Simplifies reassembly
I have an old-style (pre-Q) P22. This captive spring and guide rod makes it a lot quicker to reassemble the pistol, especially in situations when you haven’t brought the whole “kit” with you. I haven’t shot it yet, but it fits very well and seems like it will work fine.
