The TANDEMKROSS Sentinel Captured Spring Rod for the Walther® P22® is an excellent upgrade for your Walther® pistol. The Walther® factory spring is extra long and extends past the spring guide rod. This design requires a special tool to reinstall and makes cleaning your P22® a challenge. The TANDEMKROSS stainless steel guide rod for the Walther® P22® features a captured spring, doing away with the need for any special equipment and making your firearm maintenance simple.
Because the spring is captured, the TANDEMKROSS Sentinel Spring Rod also returns the P22® slide to the same position every time, reducing up and down movement of the slide and improving accuracy.
This drop-in part is one of the best P22® accessories that will improve the performance and simplify the maintenance of your Walther® P22®.

Stainless Steel Captured Spring
Perfect product and easy to assemble compared to the stock recoil spring for Walther P22. Easy to shoot and does not have any issues. Would recommend for everyone

P22captured spring guide rod
Excellent guide rod improved the firearm ability to cycle cheap 22lr ammos that was not cycling very well before this new Sentinel captured guide rod.

Should of been a factory piece
Bought 2 of these for my p22's. Install was easy. First took 2 min's second was 30 seconds. Feels great, havent been to range but it loojs like alignments already better and its a tiny bit stiffer. I got bad arthritis and not a issue racking or manipulating but definitely stiffer than stock. Love that gun is niw truely tool less!

Fantastic Product
Been shopping around for a good solution to Walther's terrible design. This arrived quick, was packaged nicely, installed easily, and works perfect. Not sure why this wasn't standard from the factory! Will be ordering more products in the future for sure.

much easier assembly!
the whole point of this captured guide rod is a MUCH easier reassembly process. and that totally works. and the pistol still performs really well. since using it i have had zero failures with 300 rounds of mini-mags and only a couple of FTF or FTE with cheaper ammo. i am very glad i found these guys and hope they keep making more cool products. thanks!

Sentinel captured recoil spring for Walther P-22
Excellent product. Was delivered in a timely manner. I installed it and found out right away how much nicer compared to stock non-capture spring. So far 250+ rounds thought it and ZERO malfunctions gun related. 2-3 total malfunction all ammo related. So far very happy with this spring
