The TANDEMKROSS Sentinel Captured Spring Rod for the Walther® P22® is an excellent upgrade for your Walther® pistol. The Walther® factory spring is extra long and extends past the spring guide rod. This design requires a special tool to reinstall and makes cleaning your P22® a challenge. The TANDEMKROSS stainless steel guide rod for the Walther® P22® features a captured spring, doing away with the need for any special equipment and making your firearm maintenance simple.
Because the spring is captured, the TANDEMKROSS Sentinel Spring Rod also returns the P22® slide to the same position every time, reducing up and down movement of the slide and improving accuracy.

I HIGHLY recommend the Sentinel" Stainless Steel Captured Spring Guide Rod for Walther® P22®. I was struggling to reassemble my Walther P22 due to the uncaptured spring/guide rod that came with the gun. The Sentinel captured spring guide rod completely solved this problem. Reassembly is now very easy. I love my Walther and can now enjoy it even more. THANKS so much for this great product

NIce upgrade for my P22
I purchased the Sentinel spring to help with reliability for my finicky P22, and it definitely improved the consistency for cycling the action. But I'm even more happy that I don't need to do finger gymnastics anymore to reassemble the gun. The captured spring drops in easily with no need for gunsmithing or adjustments of any kind.

Walther P22 captured spring
This product really made a difference in take down and cleaning of the firearm. It also allowed the firearm to cycle flawlessly with various ammo brands and weights. A huge difference from the stock guide rod and spring.

Great product, excellent quality, it makes a world of difference when reassembling your P22. Fully recommended.

Great product but need improvement
Great product. Now I can assemble/disassemble less than 10 seconds. Beside CCI mini-mag, it was able to cycle Aguilar HV 100%. However it still had issue with Winchester white box and CCI quiet. Please make this spring work with all ammo like the factory captured spring.

Excellent guide rod improved the firearm ability to cycle cheap 22lr ammos that was not cycling very well before this new Sentinel captured guide rod.
