Excellent Product
Bought one of these for both the SR22 and a Walther P22. Both are well made, and drop in easily. The Walther performs flawlessly (as it always has done). The SR22 is a bit more finicky - I've had a few failures to feed. I attribute that to the gun being new and needing some break-in, since it has had less than a brick of ammo through it (had similar FTF prior to installing the captured spring rod. Makes reassembly after cleaning a breeze, so well worth the price.

Fantastic
On anticipation of of receiving this part I took it to the range and put it to the test. I fired several hundred rounds of various manufactured .22 without a single problem or concern. The Sentinal holds up nicely, it's easy to manage and maintain and it has great appeal. I'm very happy with this piece.

RELIABILTY AND LONGEVITY
Great for the reliability and longevity of the SR22. We put over 1400 rounds in a single sitting through a single sr22, with this spring and the Game Changer Comp, and the gun ran like perfect the whole time!

I bought the stainless steel captured spring for my 4.5" SR22 that had over 400rds range time and was flawless. Tried to install Sentinel spring and I couldn't rack slide far enough back to install. Called Office and they said they had some problems with spring not fitting. To their credit they replaced with one that fit no charge for shipping and return for old one. Installed new Sentinel spring and had several ftf and fte issues. It seems that the spring is too Weak compared to original factory spring. Installed original factory assembly and gun shoots everything I run through it. Reading all the good reviews I guess it works best with 3.5" barrel. No complaints about how Tandemkross handled my problem, just disappointed it didn't work for me. Should be 5 stars for service, but only 3 stars because Should of but did not work. Thankyou

SR22 Sentinel Spring Rod
This a great addition to my SR22. The pistol action feels real smooth and I do believe it has improved it's performance at the range. It's a great buy.

a little work
loaded this rod into the gun and just while installing the slide, there was enough compression to weaken the spring till the slide was super loose. obviously not enough of a spring steel spring as i could stretch and collapse it super easily. ended up cutting two coils off the stock spring and its tight works well and keeps the slide locked back well. maybe ive missed something but im fairly certain the spring should compress and not stay compressed.

Excellent upgrade!
I was having feed issues on a Ruger SR22 and posted the problem on Rimfire Central. A member suggested this spring and rod. Problem is solved. The gun also shoots more accurately and just feels smoother. It is also much easier to clean.
