    It did a nice job. No failures to feed fire or any jams whatever. Also it really reduces the felt recoil of the pistol.

    The "Sentinel" Stainless Steel Captured Spring Guide Rod for Ruger® SR22 ended the FTE problem that plagued my wife's Ruger SR22, no matter what ammunition she fed the pistol. Since installation of the new guide rod and spring, 200+ rounds have been consecutively fired with no FTE, no jams.

    Captured recoil spring SR22

    One of the best, and least expensive, upgrades to the SR22. The guide rod that comes with the Ruger is plastic and with the recoil spring it is in two pieces. Too easy to lose one or the other. The Tandemkross captured spring is a single entity, fits easily, and works flawlessly. It s the one upgrade that should be done to the SR22.
