While the KelTec® CMR30™, CP33™, and PMR30™ are popular for their lightweight design and high magazine capacity, many users struggle with accidental magazine releases. The TANDEMKROSS “Maverick” Extended Magazine Bumper offers an oversized grip that protects the heel release button, putting a stop to accidental magazine releases while improving the consistency of positive magazine changes.
The ergonomic design fits the natural shape of the hand, ensuring a more comfortable and consistent magazine seating for all users. The extended magazine base pad is made of lightweight Zytel and features a skeletonized design to increase grip surface area with minimal added weight. Should the magazine get stuck, the skeletonized design offers the user a ring pull for easy pulling from the magazine well.
This drop-in magazine shoe easily attaches to the bottom of the KelTec® CMR30™, CP33™, or PMR30™ magazine using the factory-installed base pad attachment. It does not require glue or gunsmithing and can be easily installed by the user.

Best Mag Extension
I have to admit I tried 2 other base pads before the Maverick. Both had you thumb the mag release and then try to grab the sides of the pad to pull out mag; very awkward. With the Maverick, your thumb slides off the mag release and onto the mag pad; effortless and automatic! Superb engineering! Also, both prior pads shattered when I dropped an empty mag! At least I got refunded on both.

Kel-Tec Magazines
These base pads are an excellent addition to the PMR30's two magazines supplied w/ the pistol except... The magazines are difficult to load as is, but the round hoop of the Maverick base makes loading even more difficult to accomplish at the range, particularly if you use M•CARBO's Speed Loader. The solution is to remove the base hoop such that the magazine's base is flat once more. W/ that "addition," these finally receive five stars.

Excellent & must have item
Excellent upgrade - Kel-Tec CP33 mags are tight and hard to remove (do not slide out easily). This great upgrade solves that issue. Give you something to grab onto and pulls the mag right out. Must have if you have a CP33

Very good, but be careful
Bought six of these to make CP33 mag changes easier (not much to grip on the stock base pads). The loop really helps facilitate quick tactical changes - you can just rip the mag right out and quickly index a new one. However, a couple times the TK base pads came "undone" as I was reloading the mags, and in one instance the mag spring shot out and I lost it at the range. Now, when I reload the mags, I take care to keep my little finger through the loop just in case this happens again, and I put a small spot of glue on the "button" just to ensure it stays put (a small enough amount of glue that I can undo it with the tap of a punch if I want to disassemble the mag for deep cleaning). Other than that, these really improve the functionality of my CP33, and they look cool, too!

If you have a CP-33 and don’t have these base plates, you hate your fingers. I’ve order 4 at this point and absolutely love them. Easy to install and makes mag changes much faster!
