The pull ring charging handle is modeled after our popular halo Charging Ring for Browning Buck Mark and Smith & Wesson® SW22® Victory™, and features a smooth, curved ring for improved leverage and easy charging for all users - whether right- or left-handed. The ambidextrous design also works with a holster.
The halo Charging Ring is an ideal upgrade for competition shooters who may need to charge the pistol or clear a jam quickly. For junior and senior shooters, overcoming the hammer can also be a serious challenge. Made of lightweight, aircraft grade aluminum, the halo Charging Ring for Ruger® Mark IV™ and Ruger® Mark III™ pistols improves grip and leverage for easier charging, without adding extra weight to the back of the pistol or impacting the pistol's action.

Broken charging ring
Had this item before worked great unti it broke so ordered a second. This is mounted on my Hunter Mark 4

Charging Ring
Should be called "Finger Saver" as that is what it does. So many automatics come with stiff springs and people with weak hands or sensitive fingers have real problems with them. Especially older folks who used to be able to work any action with no problem. These things help put the fun back in shooting and let you enjoy your hobby. I have them on two guns and will be putting them on more in the future. They work, its that simple.

Tired of getting hand or forefinger pinched by unintended bolt return when not fully locked open. The halo charging ring eliminates that issue. Also facilitates quicker bolt release prior to firing when shooting in timed matches. Good quality part and very easy to install. Highly recommend it for Ruger Mk III owners.

I bought a Mark IV Hunter. This charge ring is a lot easier to use than the bolt without it. It also does not add much weight so the recoil still pushes out the .22 brass. The aluminum color matches the stainless well enough if you are into that. I would say this is a great thing to add to your pistol to make loading easier..

Mark III charging handle
I used the original tapered knob charging handle which worked great but as we know had a weakness. The new halo charging handle works great. The new attachment design makes the charging handle a solid addition to my pistol. The new charging handle is large enough that you don’t have to search for where to grasp it, just grip it and pull. If you are still trying to grasp the serrated sides of your bolt get this new halo charging handle you will really enjoy using it.

Very easy for my wife to use
This mod makes it so much easier for my wife at the range. She has arthritis and with this add, she can cock the Ruger with ease. It fit great and was very easy to install.

Avid shooter
This is a great product. Even if you have a vice like grip, you will appreciate being able to loop your finger through the hoop and give the charging handle a quick tug. Goes on easy and works like a charm.
