The pull ring charging handle is modeled after our popular halo Charging Ring for Browning Buck Mark and Smith & Wesson® SW22® Victory™, and features a smooth, curved ring for improved leverage and easy charging for all users - whether right- or left-handed. The ambidextrous design also works with a holster.
The halo Charging Ring is an ideal upgrade for competition shooters who may need to charge the pistol or clear a jam quickly. For junior and senior shooters, overcoming the hammer can also be a serious challenge. Made of lightweight, aircraft grade aluminum, the halo Charging Ring for Ruger® Mark IV™ and Ruger® Mark III™ pistols improves grip and leverage for easier charging, without adding extra weight to the back of the pistol or impacting the pistol's action.

First upgrade
I wish I would have went with this for my first upgrade, so many pinched fingers. Love it great quality and it makes the gun so much better for teaching new shooters it doesn't bite back, the days of finger pinch disclaimers are past us.

Charging ring
I waited 2 years to buy this charging ring cause I didnt want to pay $50 for it. Finally broke down and got it. Its well made and works very good. Easy to install. Something Ruger should put on their guns from the factory.

Charging Ring for Ruger Mark IV
This makes the Ruger Mark IV very simple to charge by slingshotting the bolt with just one finger. I have one on my Smith & Wesson Victory as well. Very well made out of aluminum, so it is lightweight and does not effect the action of the bolt. It just makes the gun a lot more fun to shoot.
