10/22® Green Spring Install Instructions
At a Glance:
- Missile wire offering extended life
- Improve reliability and reduce failures to feed
- Replace old, broken, or missing springs
Upgrade your rimfire rifle’s torsion mag springs with the Green Springs Magazine Springs for Ruger® 10/22® Rotary Magazines (3-Pack). These rotary mag springs from TANDEMKROSS are great to keep on hand as spares, or for an upgrade to improve your magazine’s reliability.
Every time a magazine is fully loaded, it reduces the output torque of the spring by a small amount. Over time and with many cycles, the reduction in torque affects the magazines ability to feed reliably. A new replacement rotary magazine torsion spring is wound with missile wire to prolong the life of the spring and provide long-lasting performance. The green color of the TK magazine springs is a simple way to visually differentiate your new replacement springs when next to the factory springs.
You can fully repair or rebuild a factory magazine with these great products:
- Shoulder Bolt and Nut for Ruger® 10/22® Rotary Magazines by Rim/Edge
- Green Springs for Ruger® 10/22® Rotary Magazines
- Magazine Assembly Tool with Pouch and Carabiner for Ruger® 10/22®

10/22 Magazine Springs
I tore all my 10/22 magazines apart with the Tandemkross magazine tool set for a long-overdue cleaning. Being cheap, I tried to reuse the existing springs, but a couple of them were obviously short. I replaced these two with new “green” springs. The “green” springs were longer and their longer end stem made them easier to install. Well worth the purchase price!

Green mag springs
The mag springs for Ruger rotaries are longer and stronger than oem springs providing much more positive feeding. Anyone having feeding problems with oem springs should immediately switch to these green springs.

Look great Work great. Easy to install

Green Springs
I shoot in a monthly Steel match. The green springs add extra tension which aids reliability when cycling the gun at high speed. Well worth it.

Ruger rotary magazine springs.
While I was cleaning the 10 round mags for my 10-22 and American rimfire rifles, I managed to destroy two of the springs! I was glad to see TK had the three spring pack for sale and used the latter for the repair job. I have since ran a number of rounds through the aforementioned rifles with no issues and the performance of the magazines is like new.

Green springs
They work just fine. I don’t know if they are any better then new ruger springs. Just got them because my mags are old.

Perfect for Double & Triple Kross's
I use these in my double & triple kross's. Not only do they cool & perform flawlessly. The spring tension is stronger than the originals. Highly recommended.
