10/22® Green Spring Install Instructions
At a Glance:
- Missile wire offering extended life
- Improve reliability and reduce failures to feed
- Replace old, broken, or missing springs
Upgrade your rimfire rifle’s torsion mag springs with the Green Springs Magazine Springs for Ruger® 10/22® Rotary Magazines (3-Pack). These rotary mag springs from TANDEMKROSS are great to keep on hand as spares, or for an upgrade to improve your magazine’s reliability.
Every time a magazine is fully loaded, it reduces the output torque of the spring by a small amount. Over time and with many cycles, the reduction in torque affects the magazines ability to feed reliably. A new replacement rotary magazine torsion spring is wound with missile wire to prolong the life of the spring and provide long-lasting performance. The green color of the TK magazine springs is a simple way to visually differentiate your new replacement springs when next to the factory springs.
You can fully repair or rebuild a factory magazine with these great products:
- Rotor for Ruger® 10/22® Rotary Magazines
- Shoulder Bolt and Nut for Ruger® 10/22® Rotary Magazines by Rim/Edge

These work well
I searched for a while for replacement springs for my 10/22. I was not sure how old the originals were. Replaced the old with these from TK and all is well. ????

mag springs
Replaced springs in three of my oldest magazines to see if it would eliminate failures to feed. The stronger springs seem to have solved this problem.

Replacement of weak Springs
I purchased these to replace some springs in magazines that were over twenty years old. I was having feed issues and picked these up and I am very pleased. They worked great. I would recommend them.

ruger magazine green springs
All of my 10/22 magazines were several yrs old and have been very well used . Experiencing failure to feed problems and some ejection problems. Replaced all magazine springs with GREEN SPRINGS. Took the rifle out and ran 200 rounds thru. WORKS FINE. Well worth the ½ hr it took to upgrade to the green springs. The tool to open and reassemble the Magazines made the job very easy, which I also wish I had bought a long time ago Save yourself a lot of frustration and cussing upgrade to GREEN SPRINGS and enjoy functionality of your 10/22 that is better than when new!!

Great upgrade!
I have a small herd of factory 10/22 magazines for my take down rifle. I was having feed issues with a couple of my older mags and came to this website to see what was offered. I read the review by others who had purchased and installed these upgrade springs and decided this is what I needed. These springs are great and feel like they are just a bit stronger than the brand new factory mag springs I had purchased a couple weeks ago. After the upgrade to my mags, all 6 now function well. These springs are a good upgrade even for brand new mags.

I replaced the springs but have not been to the range to give them a real test.
