The Get a Grip Kit includes the TANDEMKROSS Cornerstone Safety Thumb Ledge, TANDEMKROSS hiveGrip and Striplin Custom Gunworks forward thumb ledge in one, easy-to-install kit.
The Cornerstone Safety Thumb Ledge replaces the external factory safety, offering an extended 1911-style thumb ledge for better hand placement - no risk of bumping the safety on while shooting!
The Striplin Custom forward thumb ledge offers ideal placement for your non-dominant hand for a secure, two-handed grip that helps prevent muzzle rise and boosts accuracy. Machined from billet aluminum and cerakoted in black, the new Ruger® Mark IV™ 22/45™ Thumb Rest from Striplin Custom requires no permanent modification to the gun’s frame and installs in minutes.
The TANDEMKROSS hiveGrip completes this grip-boosting kit of Ruger® Mark IV™ 22/45™ accessories. The popular hiveGrip is made from patented impact- and vibration-dampening material. Each of the 3 components in this kit stands out on its own as being a significant upgrade to the controls of the Mark IV. Together the synergy make your weapon a potentially dominant force at the range. Worth the investment.

Not a gunsmith, but watching a couple YouTube videos made the install pretty easy, which I highly recommend before just jumping in head first. Thumbs placement feels very secure and solid while shooting, making the Ruger Mark IV 22/45 Lite feel unique compared to my other pistols.

Get a Grip Kit
Thought about purchasing the "HiveGrip" by itself but then decided on trying the "Get a Grip Kit". I am glad I did, the grip is fantastic but the thumb safety and forward ledge make it for even better control. The kit is the way to go, another fantastic TK product.
