  • Machined from hardened tool steel to last a lifetime
  • Unique positive "hook" design grabs casings securely and surely
  • Reduces failures-to-eject and "stove-pipe" malfunctions
  • TANDEMKROSS LIFETIME guarantee

The TANDEMKROSS "Eagle's Talon" Extractor for Ruger® MK™ Series is a much needed reliability upgrade that replaces the stamped factory provided extractor.  Often the factory extractor won't maintain a secure enough hold on the spent casing as the pistol is cycling and will case stove-pipes and failures-to-eject malfunctions.  Luckily with this simple to install and affordable upgrade, you can greatly improve the reliability of your firearm!  TANDEMKROSS "Eagle's Talon" Extractor is correctly machined with a positive hook that will grab and secure each round until it needs to be ejected.  Eliminate your frustrations at the range with a much better part that will throw your spent cases far away from ever causing another failure-to-eject!

I was getting stovepipes every other magazine, usually on the ninth round.Granted I shoot cheap bulk ammo. I like to run tons of rounds through 22lr. semi autos. This was after putting a 2000-3000rnds. through my mark 4. Dropped this in, function test200-300rnds. Perfect. Bad on ruger, good on tandemkross. Lets hope it hold up, as I plan on putting many rounds through this gun.

I switch my extractors on all my .22's. It's very common to have more ware ware and tear since I can easily put 6k rounds in two weeks on a .22 this extractor has held up the best so far. Would not hesitate to buy again.

I started having an increased number of FTE's, and this definitely solved the problem. Put 2000 rounds through it yesterday and not one issue.

    Solved my problem!

I was having multiples problems with my brand new Ruger MK IV 22/45 Lite. Double feed, FTF, FT eject and FT extract among them. Was ready to sell the pistol and get rid of it when a fellow shooter suggested the Eagle's Talon Extractor. After that, I found several other shooters recommending the same extractor for above mentioned problems. Ordered it online and had it in few days. Installation is not difficult but annoying due to "always Ruger's pistol" design! I have not had any issues so far talking about at least 1000 rounds. This has been the most affordable solution for a huge headache/problem ever!

    Broken

I had a eagle's Talon installed a few weeks ago along with an accurate trigger kit. The trigger kit is great and still working however, after about 2000 rounds the Eagle Talon broke in the corner. I read it is made from tool steel and hardened. It might be too brittle due to heat treating, and, the corner needs to have some radius to drop the stress area.
