Eagle's talon extractor
3/12/2021 I own a Ruger Mk3 22/45 and it is many years old. It seems that even the ole oem design was close but not right. Finally, it gave up like a ghost. It was either this or the Volquartsen brand and for some weird reason I went to go with TandemKross. Glad I did really as I all ready had exposure on their "firestarter" firing pin for my MK3 22/45 and that one too is better than the stock one so Five stars there. That eagles talon sure rips that casings for the most part. I am using Aguilla super extra, CCI mini mag, fiocci anything with LRN CPRN and high velocity as it seems best for my 22lr pistol. More expensive but, these parts only works better with better ammunition anyway. I think I lightly took down the sharp edges just a little from the back edges where it contacts with the extractor spring. Needed? Most likely not but, eh. You can tell if your extractor is screwed up if the tooth looks as round as the shape as the bolt face when you are staring at it. Time to change it out, Trust me. Make sure it is an Eagles Talon.

Eagle's Talon Extractor for Mk & 22/45 series Pistols
Price is reasonable so I decided to buy two to have as spares incase any of my Ruger MK 22/45 pistols have extractor problems. Better have them and not need them, than need them and not have them. Cheap insurance.

eagle claw extractor
at half the price of volquartsen extractors, ordered two of these for mark 3 and mark 4 pistols. seem to be well made, corners are sharp and clean, not stamped from sheet metal as oem part is. installed easily with the speciality tool and had no problems.

Ruger Eagle Talon Extractor
I have an early 1950s Standard Model Ruger .22. For some time it has been prone to troublesome stovepipe jams, up to 50% of shots regardless of ammunition type or maker. I was about ready to sell it, but I ran across an article about replacing the extractor as a possible cure. So I ordered an Eagle Talon. It arrived today (very fast shipment) and I installed it. I took that Ruger out in the back yard and fired off ten rounds rapid fire without a single malfunction. The first time that has happened for a long time. I am very happy.

Eagle Talon Extractor
Good fit ,good instructions. Haven't fired the gun yet. Looks like it should work better than factory. Odd, gun seemed to work, but my factory extractor was broken some time ago. Thank you for a good product and a fair price. Bill
