The new Eliminator Recoil Guide Rod for Buck Mark from Striplin Custom Gunworks is an aftermarket replacement for the factory Buck Mark guide rod, eliminating the C-clip used in the factory version that can cause reliability issues in the firearm. This one piece, machined stainless steel guide rod simplifies maintenance assembly and disassembly. The guide rod is made from hardened stainless steel and is polished for smooth cycling.
 
The Eliminator Buck Mark Recoil Guide Rod works with all Buck Mark pistols and rifles, including pre-2000 Buck Mark firearms. This replaces the guide rod only, and uses the factory spring and buffer.     Works Great on Newer Buckmark

    This trigger works great for the newer Buckmark. I have one that was made in the early 1990s. I didn't work in it all. On the other hand, my newer pistol didn't have a problem with it. If you have a newer Buckmark pistol, I highly recommend this.

    Great product once you get it fitted

    I was reluctant to "fit" this guide rod initially, but after talking with Bill Striplin (the owner I presume) he assured me it was OK to fit, and if I messed it up, he would replace it. I just fitted it and it does everything he says it will. It makes take-down and reassembly easier and the gun does cycle smoother. Thanks Bill.

    I bought this item due to the fact the E-clip had broken on my Buckmark and I either had to get a new clip or try out something different. This upgrade is fantastic apart from some minor filing, it was a drop in fit. So much easier to strip my pistol for cleaning too.

    What a great product. Makes taking my Buck Mark apart so much easier. no more worrying about the spring or the "Jesus" clip. Tandemkross delivery was really quick as well. Install was super easy.

    The Striplin Innovator for the Browning Buckmark is a very creative device to eliminate the recoil guide rod ‘C’ clip loss and replacement problem. The material used seems to be more substative as well. A bit pricey but worth it to make your Buckmark an even more reliable and better performing plinker.

    I spent sometime with 1000 grit sandpaper sanding it down on both ends. Compared to the rod that was in there it was to long and would not fit in. Once shortened and installed it worked well.
