Made of nearly indestructible Zytel®, these finely made magazine bumpers are designed to enable your factory magazines to load five extra rounds! These SR22® bumpers extend the bottom of the magazine to allow for more grip and better handling. Even more importantly, they help with seating magazines securely into the pistol frame by providing extra material to "bump" them into a locked state.

Install was simple, but they didn't work at first. I had to force #14 and 15, and once I did that, the follower got stuck in the extension. I tried them both, both failed. I took them apart and gave up. Then I saw a YouTube video where a guy had the same issue. He had to buzz off part of the extension in order to create enough room for it all to fit. I used my dremel and did the same thing and now they work. I just don't think I should have to do that much work to make a simple product function, but at least they work now. No failures at the range.

these plus 5 are awsome. i have 10 of them.you can squeeze 22 in and i in the magazine' you have to get some from tandemkross. great prduct and the besy customer service in the business.the down size is you use up a lot of ammo fastbut its fun.

It makes the terriffic SR22 a whole new experience
First of all Tandemkross has provided me great CS. The Wingman bumper is the central part of turning the already great Ruger SR22 with 10+1 into a terrific 16+1 home defense gun. My wife's ccw instructor (a retired doctor and 25-year NRA instructor) was so impressed with it that he remarked he was going to get one for himself. At first I was disappointed with the difficulty of loading the last 2 rounds until I found a note added to the end of the instructions about having to file the 2 risers to form a ramp into the bumper. Also I had to buy another part from another manufacturer that both restored the slide lock at empty function and add the extra round. The bumper looks great, performs well and allows the pinky finger to have a solid rest.

Was first disappointed wasted range trip call customer service told me there is tailoring that needs to be done on some once I did worked flawless but did waste a Range trip recommendations to tandem cross Taylor these before you sell them.

They Function Fine, Except.
I've had no feed issues with these installed on my magazines. Like countless others have said, the last round hold open doesn't work. I knew this when I placed my order. I tried another design. It gave only 3 rounds more and said it held the slide open on the last round. It did, but as soon as the magazine was removed the slide sprang forward. In spite of this drawback, I will keep these installed. Extra range rounds for plinking. I'll work on my magazine changes using my 10 round OEM mags. Give me a mag extension that works properly with my pistol's slide catch and you'll get 5 instead of 4 stars. I can recommend this product.
