- Improved hand placement boosts control and improves leverage for more accurate shooting
The Ruger® Mark IV™ 22/45™ has become a favorite rimfire pistol among competitive shooters. The flush surface on the magazine base pads of these 22/45™ pistols can be challenging for competitors, making it harder to consistently seat the magazine properly and causing unnecessary delays.
The TANDEMKROSS Tomahawk Hooked Bumper for Ruger® Mark IV™ 22/45™ (2-pack) offers an oversized, textured Zytel® grip, allowing the user to easily bump the magazine into place for positive, consistent magazine seatings. The curved, hooked Ruger® magazine bumper offers an ideal placement for the user's pinky, boosting control and leverage over the pistol; perfect for shooters with large hands and competition shooters looking for a better grip.
These drop-in Ruger® magazine bumpers attach to the bottom of the factory magazine without any glue or gunsmithing, installing in minutes! This simple Ruger® 22/45™ upgrade is ideal for competitive speed shooters or any Ruger® owner looking to improve the firearm’s reliability.

Tomahawk for Bullseye
I'm in a bullseye league and had a couple of alibis due to my string not getting fully in. I wanted something that would provide a more positive full stop. Thinking that the base of the mag having a little "extra" may provide better positive feedback, I gave them a try. The Tomahawk seems to have resolved this as I have had no alibis since.

Tomahawk Magazine Bumper
I bought a couple of TK’s Tomahawk mag bumpers to replace the OEM Ruger factory ones. I watched their short video on how to successfully accomplish this swap. Their video makes this swap seem very easy. Let me warn you it is not as easy as that video portrays. Getting the factory bumpers off of the factory Ruger mags is straight forward, but getting the Tomahawks installed is not. There’s a kind of tab on the inside of the Tomahawk’s that greatly interferes with simply sliding it back in place. This tab engages the factory metal pin which is contained within the travelers spring that HAS TO BE pulled completely back away back up the mag from the Tomahawk or you WILL NOT be able to slide the new mag bumper in place. You almost need a hire hand to complete the installation, really you do! Now once you figure out how to get the Tomahawk mag bumpers in place, with the factory metal pin engage into the bumper’s pin hole, WOW what a positive improvement. The ability to have something positive for your shooting support hand’s little finger to rest on is simply fantastical.
