- Improved hand placement boosts control and improves leverage for more accurate shooting
The Ruger® Mark IV™ 22/45™ has become a favorite rimfire pistol among competitive shooters. The flush surface on the magazine base pads of these 22/45™ pistols can be challenging for competitors, making it harder to consistently seat the magazine properly and causing unnecessary delays.
The TANDEMKROSS Tomahawk Hooked Bumper for Ruger® Mark IV™ 22/45™ (2-pack) offers an oversized, textured Zytel® grip, allowing the user to easily bump the magazine into place for positive, consistent magazine seatings. The curved, hooked Ruger® magazine bumper offers an ideal placement for the user's pinky, boosting control and leverage over the pistol; perfect for shooters with large hands and competition shooters looking for a better grip.
These drop-in Ruger® magazine bumpers attach to the bottom of the factory magazine without any glue or gunsmithing, installing in minutes! This simple Ruger® 22/45™ upgrade is ideal for competitive speed shooters or any Ruger® owner looking to improve the firearm’s reliability.

Must have upgrade!
The first time I was on a firing line with my Mk iv lite, I didn't fully seat my magazine during a magazine change which cost me time. The tomahawk bumper changed all that in an instant! Not only that, it fits your grip nicely when shooting two handed!

Functional and Cool
I have an original Ruger "Mark II" 22/45, and recently bought the "Mark IV" and found with this simple change, I can use the "Mark II" magazines in the "Mark IV." I will eventually get these for the rest of my magazines. Although I like the "tomahawk" portion, I think it a little too much for me. Still, they look cool.

Must Have
TK tomahawk base pads are a must have for Ruger Mark IV mags… makes reloads super easy and much quicker. Install was a breeze (keep your thumb over the mag spring, it will leave that mag in a hurry)

Tomahawk floor plates for 2245 magazines
They are a little bit different than I thought they were. I thought that maybe it would give me a little more real estate on the bottom of my grip, but actually it’s a little bigger than I thought so it doesn’t come up against my pinky at all anyway. But it does make for a little easier to insert your magazine, and for sure a little more to catch when you release your magazine I saw videos and blogs that said people had trouble installing them because they were too tight. I didn’t have any trouble with that. But you sure wanna make sure you got a hold of that spring it’s a little bit of a learning curve, but after two of them, I got a process down that worked well with a small dental pic to hold the plunger and spring and place while I put the floor plate on. Looking forward to get to the range.

Super tight fit. Had to use a rubber hammer.
