    Titan Extended Mag release

Posted by Rickey on 29th Dec 2020

This was a well made extended mag release for my MK IV. Since I have turned this into a Steel Challenge, I have aftermarket grips. The TK extended mag release is a great addition to this pistol along with all the other TK addition. TK has great products and fast shipping. Videos are great help to installation.

    Great extended magazine release

Posted by Ed Lindquist on 19th Dec 2020

I have had problems with releasing the magazine without changing my firing grip. After installing the extended magazine release button I can now eject the magazine while the pistol is still down range, on target. I do not have to see the pistol to do a magazine change. Great product!

It makes it easier to find and press the magazine release. Great! Also has a couple of options for configuration to suit your preferences.

    Works well, maybe too well...

Yeah this extended mag release does exactly what I was hoping it would do. I installed it on my MarkIV Target and now it is very easy to drop a mag out without contorting my hand. The ooooonly thing wrong with it is that it works a little too well -- every time I lay the gun down on its left side it spits the mag out. If I put the gun in its case with a mag in it, it releases the mag. The problem there is if I forget (like always) when I take the gun out of its case the mag falls out on the floor. I'm inclined to live with that because of how easy it is to release mags.

    Extended Magazine Release

Excellent [TK] product. It adds to the enjoyment of my Ruger Mark III Hunter in a big way. I used the round button option and it works great. Easy to install. Highly recommended.

    Excellent Option

Posted by EDWARD on 17th Sep 2020

Because of small hands (limited thumb reach) and G10 grips with no release bevel, I knew an extended release was needed. I tried both styles and settled for the paddle. Two benefits: Thumb can now activate mag release without changing grip; Paddle creates a thumb-placement guide for consistent hold. The caveat was that the mage are stiff going in (slightly). The cure was taking each mag and doing about 10 R&R's until they were mated to the new tolerances. The mags need a little 'pop'as they go in, but retention is perfect, release is correct, and no failures of any kind since install.

    Extended Mag Release

Posted by Rene Q on 18th Jun 2020

Very easy to install. I fit it to my Altamont Ruger MK IV 4 Wood Grips - Fingergroove Super Rosewood Basketweave. I used the paddle button which makes it easy to push and drop my clip.

Now I can release mag without changing grip

Posted by Mike Christianson on 4th Jun 2020

Medium sized hands. Have no problem releasing mag on my g19. Not sure why ruger hasn’t adjusted the mag release on the mk4 in 80 years but TK to the rescue. Easily installed, actually took me a lot longer as I accidentally pulled up the vid for 22/45 way easier on the standard. Anyhow, fits great, every once in a while I feel the mag “catch” about 80% of the way in but seems to be getting better so maybe just needs to be broken in.
