Was easy to install in my mk3 . Much easier to use now compared to the factory release. Am very pleased. Great products from Tandem Kross.

Titan
Love the product. Have a suggestion. I have the Ruger MK IV with target grip. The kit as it came will not work due to the thickness of the grip. I called Customer Service and discussed it with a helpful gentleman. They sent an additional silver spacer and a longer screw. Problem solved. Perhaps make mention of that need in the video to alert others of the need.

extended mag release Ruger MK4
I installed this in a MK4 aluminum frame and the mag would not insert. A replacement release had the same problem, neither was machined like the factory release. I managed to duplicate the factory nit with a dremel and the mag inserted OK but would stick when pressed. I deburred the crescent shaped relief cut and that helped but unless pressed straight down, any torque to the side would cause resistance due to side play between the hole in the frame and the release. This was aggravated when using the larger of the 2 buttons because of the offset from center. I decided that if I needed a mag change in falling plates competition I was going to lose anyway so reinstalled the factory release for smoother operation. I will sell the TK unit which may work better in a 1911 plastic frame. I would not buy again unless TK can tighten up their tolerances for a better fit and smooth operation.

Makes Mag Release Easier, But....
It is easy to install and makes reaching the mag release easier. The only complaint I have is prior to installing this, the mags would fall freely to the ground. Now, the mags hang up in the mag well.

Needs some fitting
It didn't fit out of the package. Returned it and they sent a fitted one. That didn't work either but was closer, so a little filing and I had it working. Customer service was very helpful. It wouldn't clear the thumb-rest on my Competition model either, so I had to make a spacer. Ended up using the paddle facing forward. I hit it with my middle finger of right hand. I like it.
