Glad this came with two tops
This was easy to install. I installed this on my Ruger Mark 3. Glad the kit came with two tops for the magazine release. The one shown in the picture was too large as I'm shoot left-handed. The other top is smaller and round. I had no problems getting my trigger finger over it.

The "Titan" Extended Release is great & very easy to install. Having a choice of two (2) releases helped a lot. Being 76 yrs old with small hands has helped with Bullseye scores. Would highly recommend to all Ruger Mark IV Hunter owers.

Needs work
Installed mag release and wouldn't let mag fully into mag well. Too much material on bottom lip for mag to pass by. Being a tool and die maker I carefully done a light dremel and diamond file on it and removed enough material to allow clearance for the magazine to pass but it wouldn't hang on reliably and the mag would release on its own occasionally. Went back to the factory release. Being that I altered the part I didn't bother trying to return. Had to eat the $35.00. Love TK parts and workmanship on everything else I've bought for my Mark IV but better pass this one by. Too bad guys.

mag release
overall finish is great I have gray, easy to install, I went with the circle instead of the paddle shape (to big got in the way of my hand). The mag release before with stock release was minor to little pressure to have a mag click in. MkiV with new release is a little ruff takes some force to now get mag to click in at end that was not there before (with empty mag even), might put stock release back in. maybe its just mine

Good Upgrade!
Works very well, and makes dropping the empty mag easy to do without shifting my grip. I did have to polish the ledge that actually captures the magazine to allow a new mag to be inserted. My mags would drag on the catch until it was polished.

With the Large wood grips your options are limited, still desiding how I like it, have found with the round extension and washer the mag pops out when setting gun on the side. I think it might be perfect without the extension washer, but my wife likes it with the washer and round button.

I purchased this extended mag release for my new Mark IV 22/45 lite.It comes with a circle thumb pad and a larger pad which I used and it enhanced the mag release function incredibly. The quality of this product is more than I imagined when it was delivered to me. It makes very quick mag drops effortlessly. I am very satisfied with this item and I recommend it as one of the first upgrades anyone should get for this pistol
