Great Addition
I wanted my 22/45 Lite to feel more like a combat pistol and the factory magazine release was just to small and too tough to hit with my thumb reliably. This extended magazine release is great, it now is super easy to reach with my thumb and drop a mag quickly as I fly to the next.

Extended Magazine Release
After installing the Tandemkross Hive grips on my MKIV 22/45 Tactical, I decided to buy the Extended mag release in red. I believe you have to know your firearm, and Tandemkross has great “ how to “ videos to walk you through any part of your Ruger MK build. Looks great, works great.

Great product excellent
This extended magazine release is awesome much easier to release my mags now and since I ordered it before I purchased the gun which had a gold trigger and barrel I had my cerakote guy paint it with black cerakote along with my Tandemkross Titanium grip screws looks awesome

Love it, really makes a difference with mag changes during a competition. With the factory button I would have to break my firing grip to get access to the button and drop the mag. Now the "Paddle" button is within easy reach, never break my shooting grip, drop the mag while I am reaching for a new mag. Very easy to install

Big Improvement
I bought this for my Mk4 22/45 Lite and it makes it a lot easier to hit the mag release. I thought the elongated paddle would be best, but as it turns out the button works better for me. Nice to have the option though.

First off TK is a personal customer service transparent positive experience company! TK accidentally sent the incorrect magazine release. I sent a picture and within an hour on a weekend, TK immediately sent the correct magazine release system on the upcoming Monday. I sent the in error components back for their (TK’s) inventory. I have not had a chance to install the TK magazine release button yet, but look forward to another making good guns great experience from TK!

The first mag release did not work as it was designed. I contacted the company and they immediately sent a replacement with return shipping for the replaced part. You cannot ask for any better service than this.

Works great!
It does exactly what it's designed to do. It relocates the button so that you don't have to search for it anymore; just move your thumb down and the button is right where you want/need it. It fits great with the Hive Grip. I like that you can change the orientation of the paddle, though certain angles side load the shaft causing it to bind; it's not a design issue, just physics.
