An almost must have if you install the hive grips. For a fast mag change it's right there and a plus which shape fits you thumb best.

problem with parts
They were well made and company was great to work with, but two different units did not work with my MKIV 22/45 lite. It would not let me load the mags without holding the release in and wicked hard to get them out.

Extended mag release on Ruger 2245
Tandemcrossmakes excellent products and I bought this extended magazine released for my ruger's 2245 light mark 3 and was not disappointed it works so good and I paid an extra $5 to get the color red which really looks good on my Ruger 2245 light which is blue. I would highly recommend this product if you are tired of finding the mag release button this will take care of that.

Great Addition
I wanted my 22/45 Lite to feel more like a combat pistol and the factory magazine release was just to small and too tough to hit with my thumb reliably. This extended magazine release is great, it now is super easy to reach with my thumb and drop a mag quickly as I fly to the next.
