- Includes two styles: high and low profile; perfect for customization!
- Easy to install, no permanent modifications
The Ruger® Mark IV™ 22/45™ is popular among shooting sports competitors and weekend plinkers, but for young shooters or other shooters with smaller hands, reaching the magazine release button without changing hand position can be a challenge.
The TANDEMKROSS Titan Extended Magazine Release for Ruger® Mark IV™ 22/45™ is a simple, drop-in replacement for the smaller factory magazine release, and offers significantly more surface area and height to boost the consistency and speed of magazine changes. Competing with an older 22/45™ pistol? The Titan is also compatible with the Ruger® Mark III™ 22/45™ and Mark II™ 22/45™!
The Titan Extended Magazine Release comes with two release button styles for a truly custom fit. The round button style is taller and slightly wider than the factory magazine release button, but still low profile enough for shooters with larger hands. Whichever your choice, the high and low profile options offer the ultimate customization choice for your firearm!
The Ruger® Mark IV™ 22/45™ magazine release buttons are available in black, red, or silver for further customization. Both high and low profile options are made of aluminum for long lasting durability.

22/45 Mag Release
Mag release installed perfectly with no hitches. However, mags had to be slammed home before mag release catch engaged. I had two concerns, 1, the magazine was now about .002" further up the mag well with the left feed lip bearing against the extractor (bad), and 2, when run and gunning, I needed mags to engage w/o bothering to slam it in hard enough. To solve the problem, I filed a .001" or a bit more from the magazine's mag catch nubbin, which worked perfectly. The mag was now back in it's original position w/o bearing against the extractor. Magazines are also retained w/o undue slamming.

Mag Release
This is a great product...fit and finish are perfect. If you are left handed like I am , it will take a little getting use to. It will lightly touch between your trigger finger and your middle finger.

Should come from the factory!
This went together very easy and makes a big difference at the range. Very happy I found TK. No more feeling around to find the release.

Extended Magazine Release
This is exactly what I needed after I installed target grips for my Ruger Mark IV 22/45 Lite. I also needed and installed extra spacers to help clear the grips.

MkIV Target extended mag release
Just bought a MKIV Target. Was going to install an extended mag release but the the factory release doesn t have the screw holding it in. Appears to be held in some other way, it has no screw slot and looks like maybe a roll pin is holding it in. How can I remove it and install the extended mag release?

Perfect Fit
This is a perfect fit on my 22/45 lite and the red matches the gun. I have the wooden grips from Ruger, so I had to make the cut out for the extended safety larger with a dremel but I knew that would happen. Still an awesome addition and I highly recommend it. Super easy install
