TANDEMKROSS "Titan" Extended Magazine Release Installation Instructions for the Browning Buck Mark

At a glance:

  • Taller, wider magazine release button - great for juniors or shooters with smaller hands
  • Includes two styles - button and paddle - perfect for customization!

The Browning Buck Mark is a popular rimfire pistol for Rimfire Challenge, Steel Challenge and other shooting sports competitions. Reaching the magazine release button, however, can be a challenge - especially for junior shooters or shooters with small hands. This can lead to slower magazine changes in competition and can even lead to unsafe conditions if a user must turn their gun in an unsafe direction to reach the release button.

The TANDEMKROSS "Titan" Extended Magazine Release for Browning Buck Mark is a simple, drop-in replacement for the factory magazine release that offers significantly more surface area and height to make magazine changes easy - an ideal upgrade for competition shooters!

The “Titan” Extended Magazine Release comes with two styles of magazine release button for the ultimate custom fit: a round button that is taller and slightly wider than the factory magazine release button and a larger, paddle style to extend the magazine release not only out and away from the gun, but also back toward the shooter. Install whichever button style works best for you!

The magazine release button and paddle are available in black or silver to compliment almost any Browning Buck Mark model. Both button and paddle options are made of aluminum for long lasting durability.

Make faster, more consistent magazine changes with the TANDEMKROSS "Titan" Extended Magazine Release for Browning Buck Mark.

*Fits all Buck Mark models including the Buck Mark Rifle

    UDX fail

Posted by William Houck on 14th Jun 2017

I installed the release in my UDX,and positioned it so it was possible to reach without changing my hand grip.Unfortunately the magazine would drop even though my thumb didn't release it.I really wanted this to work,so I reinstalled the OE release, which worked flawlessly.I examined them side-by-side,and the actual catch piece was shorter on the extended release. Can't use it,but maybe it works on other models.I've had success with other of your products, just not this one.

    NICE TOUCH

The extended mag release for the Buckmark was easy to install and worked perfectly. Because you can position the release tab in several positions you can make it suit your personal needs.

Mag release works, but, is bulky, sticks out of the grip a lot, could have been designed a little better. I'm not that excited about it.

The mag release looks good. The release is to small for the frame. The magazine keeps backing out when closing the bolt and I replaced the spring and no help.

My oldest daughter shoots in the Scholastic Action Shooting Program and loves the new release. I plan on ordering another for my Buckmark.

I highly recommend this for the Buckmark. It is easy to install and seems to be placed just right to not interfere with a proper grip. It has made my Mag Changes much easier and faster.

    So far so good

Installation of this release is a snap if you're familiar with your Buckmark. A quick look at YouTube is always helpful if you're not sure about the task. Once installed, I immediately thought the release was too long. I worked with it a few minutes and decided it just might work. I've practiced quite a bit with it and I really like the feel and operation. I have not yet used it in competition or high stress situations so time will tell. I am optimistic which is unusual for me.
