TANDEMKROSS "Titan" Extended Magazine Release Installation Instructions for the Browning Buck Mark

At a glance:

  • Taller, wider magazine release button - great for juniors or shooters with smaller hands
  • Includes two styles - button and paddle - perfect for customization!

The Browning Buck Mark is a popular rimfire pistol for Rimfire Challenge, Steel Challenge and other shooting sports competitions. Reaching the magazine release button, however, can be a challenge - especially for junior shooters or shooters with small hands. This can lead to slower magazine changes in competition and can even lead to unsafe conditions if a user must turn their gun in an unsafe direction to reach the release button.

The TANDEMKROSS "Titan" Extended Magazine Release for Browning Buck Mark is a simple, drop-in replacement for the factory magazine release that offers significantly more surface area and height to make magazine changes easy - an ideal upgrade for competition shooters!

The “Titan” Extended Magazine Release comes with two styles of magazine release button for the ultimate custom fit: a round button that is taller and slightly wider than the factory magazine release button and a larger, paddle style to extend the magazine release not only out and away from the gun, but also back toward the shooter. Install whichever button style works best for you!

The magazine release button and paddle are available in black or silver to compliment almost any Browning Buck Mark model. Both button and paddle options are made of aluminum for long lasting durability.

Make faster, more consistent magazine changes with the TANDEMKROSS "Titan" Extended Magazine Release for Browning Buck Mark.

*Fits all Buck Mark models including the Buck Mark Rifle

    NA

The first one I received would not release the magazine so they sent me a replacement which is working fine. I've put 400 rounds through the gun with the Titan mag release and I'm quite happy with it. It took no time to get used to it's large protruding size. It makes mag releases much easier since I don't have to adjust my grip each time. On a few occasions it was a little difficult to get the mag to release and it still feels a little sticky. Hopefully it will get smoother over time. Overall I am very happy with it.

Another great ad-on ! No more feeling around searching for the magazine release ! Very easy to replace the stock release with this one and it comes with 2 forms of buttons for your preferred preference ! The release button is at your thumb no stretching needed ! Highly recommend this !

    Buckmark

I really like it. I've had no problems with it at all. I did use blue loctite . If I was asked what to change it would be the addition of a toothed/geared head on both of the pieces so when you screw them together there's a positive lock-up. Small teeth. The customer service is great also. I didn't need them for a problem with quality (usps crap) but they were in constant contact and happy to help. I'll definitely be doing more business with TK.I'll give it 5 stars after I put another brick or 2 through the gun without failure.

    Great addition to Buck Mark

My Buck Mark Plus UDX was hard to release the magazine without using my weak hand to release. The TK Extended Magazine Release fixed the problem making mag changes a breeze with strong hand. It could be shorter and still work very well. I considered using without the paddle but it works so well I decided to use as is. Great product, easy to install, user friendly.

I really like this extended release as it allows me to drop the mag without changing my grip. Also it installed quickly and easily. It does hang-up on a standard Browning nylon holster while holstering but that's a small consideration.

    Makes reloading seemless

The stock mag release is too small to do quickly and effortlessly. This extended mag release is a must have for superfast reloads. Worth it!

    Good, but...

Posted by John Pryce on 29th Jan 2018

I ordered this almost immediately upon getting my new Buck Mark - the factory mag release is much too small. The installation was intuitive, but I ran into a problem: the back "paddle" that engages with the spring was missing a relief cut to properly fit into the recess. I took a fine diamond file to it - I was initially annoyed by the need to remove the finish, but the factory one already had some finish damage in this area - and carefully filed a little bit at a time until it properly sank into the recess. I then put the spring and grip panel back on, and installed the "button" extension. It works fine, and I'm happy with it, but the product description says "drop-in" - they really need to update it to say "potential fit issues may occur" for future customers.
