This high quality 304 stainless steel bushing is made for high duty cycle shooting and replaces the Ruger® factory bushing allowing you to safely remove the magazine disconnect from the firearm. There are instructions on the internet showing the use of washers and other parts, but this is unreliable and unsafe! Use an actual part that is designed for the job. This bushing lets the hammer move properly and at the correct speed. You will be pleased with the fit and final result with this bushing. If you know how to clean this gun you can easily remove the disconnect. Removing the disconnect allows the magazines to fall free, allows them to seat properly and does allow the gun to fire with the magazine out for tactical competition and self-defense scenarios. Check to see if your state requires the magazine disconnect installed if the firearm is ever resold.

MK III Hammer Bushing
Excellent device to get rid of the magazine safety in the MK III. Very easy to install; just watch the Tandem Cross video. If you have a MK III this will cut the steps of inserting/ejecting the magazine in the takedown process. It really helps simplify the takedown of the MK III. And if you think magazine safety disconnects are just dumb then this will do away with it. I highly recommend Tandem Kross and their products.

I ordered 2 of these to put into a pair of 22/45's that I own. The second of the pair is the reason for ordering the parts, magazines wouldn't insert easily, would NOT come out without prying them out, and there was a fairly hard drag when removing/inserting magazines into the second pistol. After installing the bushing, the magazine would drop right out, insert easily, and there is ZERO drag on the magazine throughout the frame. The first pistol, well, I didn't know it had problems until I installed the bushing. After install, it was much smoother, and works just like the #2 pistol. Installation wasn't hard, just make sure to not let the pins come out of the frame. That was the hardest part of the initial install, getting everything back into place and the pins put back through. I would recommend this product, and would buy again if needed.

Made night and day difference in my non-RP MarkIII 22/45. Went back and ordered and installed the TK Victory trigger, KaneWolf Slingshot kit, LCI replacement and the stick on grips. Runs like a champ now!

Performs the task as advertised. When opening the gun for cleaning it appears like the firearm was manufactured with it. It is tricky to install, no doubt about that. Watch installation videos a couple times prior to attempting it.

Mk III Hammer Bushing
This works great. Makes the pistol easier to put together when apart and magazines drop free. I'm not a mechanic or engineer, but I installed this in about 15 minutes, including watching the instructional video. The right size punch and a samll screwdrive and small hammer are all the tools you need. Haven't fired it yet but the problems I got this for are solved.

Great once fitted
Part arrived very quickly. It was a few thousandths of an inch too long to fit inside the frame of my Clark Custom Ruger MkIII, but a quick sand on the edges and it works exactly as intended. Well-finished.
