This high quality 304 stainless steel bushing is made for high duty cycle shooting and replaces the Ruger® factory bushing allowing you to safely remove the magazine disconnect from the firearm. There are instructions on the internet showing the use of washers and other parts, but this is unreliable and unsafe! Use an actual part that is designed for the job. This bushing lets the hammer move properly and at the correct speed. You will be pleased with the fit and final result with this bushing. If you know how to clean this gun you can easily remove the disconnect. Removing the disconnect allows the magazines to fall free, allows them to seat properly and does allow the gun to fire with the magazine out for tactical competition and self-defense scenarios. Check to see if your state requires the magazine disconnect installed if the firearm is ever resold.

Steel Hammer bushing
I anticipated buying a hammer bushing for my 22/45 lite Mark III, but hadn’t bought it. Well, I was having issues with the factory parts so I bought Tandemkross’s product. I got my part in only a couple short days. When I got the part, it was extremely simple to install and it made my gun perform 100% better than it did. It obviously deleted the magazine safety but it also made seating and ejecting the magazine much smoother. I would most definitely suggest buying this product. I look forward to making more purchases through Tandemkross in the first!

I just want to say that his eliminates the need to have a mag in to pull the trigger and it was so easy to put in I had it done for a customer while he waited and he was firing it in less than 30 minutes. GREAT Product and great people to work with.

Good product
I did the home made version first. Worked well but this is a cleaner installation. For the price it can’t be beat. Was ordering some other stuff so grabbed this as well. Works great.

Works great and it was very easy to install. I basically replaced almost all of the internals in my MkIII Hunter. close to a race gun now.
