This high quality 304 stainless steel bushing is made for high duty cycle shooting and replaces the Ruger® factory bushing allowing you to safely remove the magazine disconnect from the firearm. There are instructions on the internet showing the use of washers and other parts, but this is unreliable and unsafe! Use an actual part that is designed for the job. This bushing lets the hammer move properly and at the correct speed. You will be pleased with the fit and final result with this bushing. If you know how to clean this gun you can easily remove the disconnect. Removing the disconnect allows the magazines to fall free, allows them to seat properly and does allow the gun to fire with the magazine out for tactical competition and self-defense scenarios. Check to see if your state requires the magazine disconnect installed if the firearm is ever resold.

The Tandemkross disconnect bushing made me keep this MK III
I had a MK II which I passed on to my grandson and purchased a MK III. I hated it, however the installation of this little bushing made a world of difference on use and handling of the MK III. It also kept me from trading the pistol for something else!!

Simple design that works
I fumbles a bit with the install but got it with the help of You tube. The magazine just flies out of there and the process of disassembling and reassembling is much easier. did not help with failures to eject or chamber

Easy install, works great.
Installed on my Ruger MKIII in a couple of minutes. The only issue I had was when drifting the hammer pin out I had to push the spring on the safety side of the gun out of the notch in the hammer pin. Great product.

Ruger 22/45 Mag Disconnect Bushing
This is the best ten bucks I have spent in a long time! Online video instructions made the process very easy, even for somebody with limited experience with Ruger pistols. The whole process only took a few minutes. The mags drop right out now, and stripping and reassembly are much easier. Excellent product!

This product does exactly what it claims to do and the magazines on my Mark III just fly out of the frame now. I can't say its easy to install and it took me several tries to get all the associated parts back in the frame. I doubt I would have tried it without TK's excellent install video.
