This high quality 304 stainless steel bushing is made for high duty cycle shooting and replaces the Ruger® factory bushing allowing you to safely remove the magazine disconnect from the firearm. There are instructions on the internet showing the use of washers and other parts, but this is unreliable and unsafe! Use an actual part that is designed for the job. This bushing lets the hammer move properly and at the correct speed. You will be pleased with the fit and final result with this bushing. If you know how to clean this gun you can easily remove the disconnect. Removing the disconnect allows the magazines to fall free, allows them to seat properly and does allow the gun to fire with the magazine out for tactical competition and self-defense scenarios. Check to see if your state requires the magazine disconnect installed if the firearm is ever resold.

Steel hammer bushing Ruger mark3
I have placed this bushing in my mark 3 Hunter. If you strip your pistol for thought cleaning and remove magazine detent and spring and replace it with Tandomkross bushing it make assembled of pistol easier and helps reduce pressure on trigger and smoother. All pluses for 10 bucks. It also makes your mark 3 assemble like a mark 2 also a plus.

Mark lll Trigger bushing
Have yet to shoot the pistol since installation. Love the way the magazine drops free. Took a while to install, my clumsy hands.

Really impressive. Reduced the trigger pull, and no annoying magizine safety. I wish I would have lost the magizine disconnect spring years ago. Do yourself a favor and get one. We run this gun in a .22 challenge competition. Can't wait for the next comp.

Magazine Disconnect Replacement
Does what it says in the description: replace some parts and your Mk III no longer has a magazine disconnect. Nothing on the Mk III is easy, but installation was straightforward. I think it improved the trigger somewhat too, but I didn't measure anything so it might just be in my head.
