This high quality 304 stainless steel bushing is made for high duty cycle shooting and replaces the Ruger® factory bushing allowing you to safely remove the magazine disconnect from the firearm. There are instructions on the internet showing the use of washers and other parts, but this is unreliable and unsafe! Use an actual part that is designed for the job. This bushing lets the hammer move properly and at the correct speed. You will be pleased with the fit and final result with this bushing. If you know how to clean this gun you can easily remove the disconnect. Removing the disconnect allows the magazines to fall free, allows them to seat properly and does allow the gun to fire with the magazine out for tactical competition and self-defense scenarios. Check to see if your state requires the magazine disconnect installed if the firearm is ever resold.

Disconnect Bushing
This is a must have for the 22/45, but is also a nice upgrade for the MKIII. Well worth the effort. Don`t hesitate, order these for all your newer Rugers.

I ordered this item months ago, feared another aggravating takedown of this pistol so I put it up for a rainy day. The rainy day came, and the video from TandemKross made this alot easier than I thought it would be. I got it in with ease and the assembly was just as easy and everything worked as described. Tandemkross, Just to let you know, I love the MKIIIBUSH steel Ruger 22/45 steel magazine disconnect bushing. It has made putting the Ruger so much easier to put back together after cleaning. Excellent job on the installation video for the part. Don't have to install a empty mag to uncock the gun anymore! It even feels like it improved the trigger pull. Mags pop right out now when the mag release button is pushed. And it was reasonably priced! Thanks again, Marion

This Disconnect Bushing was easy to install and reduced the trigger pull on my Ruger mk3 to about 31/2 lbs and got rid of the drag created by the disconnect spring and transfer bar. My friend has since bought one for his Ruger from you with the same results. The mag shoots out now and you can drop the hammer without the mag. Great product and service. Thanks.
