This high quality 304 stainless steel bushing is made for high duty cycle shooting and replaces the Ruger® factory bushing allowing you to safely remove the magazine disconnect from the firearm. There are instructions on the internet showing the use of washers and other parts, but this is unreliable and unsafe! Use an actual part that is designed for the job. This bushing lets the hammer move properly and at the correct speed. You will be pleased with the fit and final result with this bushing. If you know how to clean this gun you can easily remove the disconnect. Removing the disconnect allows the magazines to fall free, allows them to seat properly and does allow the gun to fire with the magazine out for tactical competition and self-defense scenarios. Check to see if your state requires the magazine disconnect installed if the firearm is ever resold.

Great Product!
Not only is this how Ruger should be making their guns, that is without the silly magazine safety. But the machining and over quality of this piece is far above any of the other stock parts from Ruger. Functions perfect, and easy to install. Best customer service I have ever had too.

A MKIII must have
Put this in my year old 5 1/2" Bull Barrel Ruger MKIII and have not had another stove pipe. I also don't have to remember to take a mag with me when I go to clean the gun. I'm a happy customer. :)

22/45 Hammer Bushing
This is the second time I have purchased from tandemkross and I couldn't be happier with my purchase. This is a Must Have item for any MK3 owner, it takes half the steps out of field stripping and assembling. The included instructions are awesome as well as the video's on this site. This bushing is a drop in, and requires zero fitting which is great! Installs in about 10 minutes if you are familiar with MK3's. I have turned a few local shooters as well onto tandemkross and they also love this bushing. It does fit with volquartsen components as well which is a HUGE bonus!! Have no doubt, these guys know their stuff and have awesome products, and ill be a return customer every time!

The best 10$ you will ever spend on your MK3
I will put this in plain english, if you own a Ruger MkIII, you owe it to yourself to invest a mere 10 dollars on a part that is SO EASY to install, and turns your good gun into a GREAT gun!! Works EXACTLY as advertised. Mags drop freely and makes maintainence much easier. I would give 6 stars if I could, I wish I had gotten this months ago!!!! DO NOT HESITATE!!!!
