This high quality 304 stainless steel bushing is made for high duty cycle shooting and replaces the Ruger® factory bushing allowing you to safely remove the magazine disconnect from the firearm. There are instructions on the internet showing the use of washers and other parts, but this is unreliable and unsafe! Use an actual part that is designed for the job. This bushing lets the hammer move properly and at the correct speed. You will be pleased with the fit and final result with this bushing. If you know how to clean this gun you can easily remove the disconnect. Removing the disconnect allows the magazines to fall free, allows them to seat properly and does allow the gun to fire with the magazine out for tactical competition and self-defense scenarios. Check to see if your state requires the magazine disconnect installed if the firearm is ever resold.

2014 Mark III 22/45 Magazine Disconnect Bushing Review
Now I see why people were once in love with this gun. Before the Peoples Republic of California and like minded souls insisted on improvements... Out of the box my new 22/45 SS Target model was a nightmare to breakdown and reassemble. The magazine might appear to be in place but disengaged .050" or so and gave me misfeeds. I watched the online video at Tandemkross a couple of times while waiting for delivery of the new bushing. Ten minutes after the package arrived my gun went together easily for the first time and works just like it should. Perfect, cheap at ten times the price. Do it if you need it. It was easy. Thank you TandemKross, I am your customer for life.

22/45 magazine disconnect
Not enough can be said about this bushing. Turns the 22/45 target pistol into a tactical pistol with quick mag change out. Video was extremely helpful. If you don't get one these, and the bolt stop replacement kit, then you missing out. Could't believe the difference it made.
