This high quality 304 stainless steel bushing is made for high duty cycle shooting and replaces the Ruger® factory bushing allowing you to safely remove the magazine disconnect from the firearm. There are instructions on the internet showing the use of washers and other parts, but this is unreliable and unsafe! Use an actual part that is designed for the job. This bushing lets the hammer move properly and at the correct speed. You will be pleased with the fit and final result with this bushing. If you know how to clean this gun you can easily remove the disconnect. Removing the disconnect allows the magazines to fall free, allows them to seat properly and does allow the gun to fire with the magazine out for tactical competition and self-defense scenarios. Check to see if your state requires the magazine disconnect installed if the firearm is ever resold.

Excellent upgrade!!!
Much easier to install than I expected. This is a great upgrade to my Ruger!!! In fact, I'm getting ready to order another for my other Ruger and also one for a friend!

Ruger Mkiii Disconnect bushing
Installed in a Mkiii 22/25 in about 15 minutes. Worked as claimed and would highly recommend. Also installed Kanewolf slingshot and LCI insert and the Tandemkross parts made a good pistol even better.

I saw those other YouTube videos about stacking up tiny washers and holding your mouth JUUUUST right to get them all in place, then I saw the Tandemkross bushing. I read all the reviews, then bought one from your ebay store. It got to me quickly, and I installed it just tonight. The installation went EXACTLY like the video (which I had up and playing so I could follow along). The only fly in the ointment was that I did pull the hammer pin out too far, the safety lever fell out, and the sear got out of position. Memo to Bill Ruger and company: put better diagrams and instructions in your owner's manuals. It took a little while to figure out the orientation of the safety, sear, and trigger bar, but the Tandemkross bushing made even that odious task easier. Now, empty mags just fall out (like they're supposed to), the trigger pull is a little better, and mags go in much easier. Thank you so much for a simple, high-quality, and necessary part.

Best Improvement Available for MkIII Rugers
My magazines now drop freely. Does away with needless safety devise. Improves reliability replacing unnecessary parts and springs. Works flawlessly. Installation process allows you to learn about the internal works of the pistol. Best improvement comes when installed with Volquartsen trigger and fire control group.

The magazine disconnect bushing fixes what Ruger's lawyers messed up. The magazine drops free easily now, there is a positive click once seated, and takedown is easier. I would say everything feels smother as well. Just make sure you are able to take the upper off of the frame, and you will have no problems with install.

I actually bought a total of three of these as I have 3 of the Mark III 22/45 style pistols. I studied the very informative video posted regarding installation and was able to easily install the bushings. These work flawlessly and make using the pistols much more fun. Worth every penny. Fit and finish is outstanding.Highly recommend.

I really liked the quality of the mag,disconnect bushing.A mirror finish over the factory bushing and was able to use the factory hammer.I had tried another companys product which involved installing their hammer which resulted in light or sometimes no firing pin strikes.Would highly recommend your bushing both for reliability and cost.

Steel Ruger Mark III & 22/45 Magazine Disconnect Bushing
I ordered and installed one of these bushings in my Ruger Mark III Target and it's fantastic. Very easy to install and works like a charm. Mags now slide in and out effortlessly and I can fire the last round in the chamber while reloading a new mag. Makes all the difference in the world. Great job with the supporting video as well.
