This high quality 304 stainless steel bushing is made for high duty cycle shooting and replaces the Ruger® factory bushing allowing you to safely remove the magazine disconnect from the firearm. There are instructions on the internet showing the use of washers and other parts, but this is unreliable and unsafe! Use an actual part that is designed for the job. This bushing lets the hammer move properly and at the correct speed. You will be pleased with the fit and final result with this bushing. If you know how to clean this gun you can easily remove the disconnect. Removing the disconnect allows the magazines to fall free, allows them to seat properly and does allow the gun to fire with the magazine out for tactical competition and self-defense scenarios. Check to see if your state requires the magazine disconnect installed if the firearm is ever resold.

Watched the video and installed bushing. I am mechanically challenged and was able to do the install due to the detailed video. Works well. Install is easy if you follow the video.

Bought the Mag Disconnect Bushing for my Mark III Hunter. You have to take some of the frame internals apart to install it but easy enough if you are carful. I used some small pieces of masking tape to help hold parts in proper location during installation. Clean and oil while you have it apart. Did the trigger end too while I had it apart. The bushing works great and does just what is advertised. I love it. While at it I also got rid of the loaded chamber indicator with the TK replacement item. I like it too. Ron

This is the best money I have spent in a long time. I ordered the bushing for my Ruger 22/45 and it was an easy install. Magazine drops out freely. No problems at all.
